Neil Purslow - Managing Director

Neil is a non-practicising litigation solicitor with c13 years PQE. Neil trained at Withers (which he joined in order to gain experience of family law) and worked at Withers and Reed Smith post qualification before joining Marsh & MacLennan Companies, Inc (MMC) as Litigation Counsel in London in 2004.

Neil left MMC at the end of 2008 to found Therium Capital Management Limited where he is a director and Chief Investment Officer. Therium is a leading third party funder of commercial litigation. Therium Capital Management Limited is 50% owned by City of London Group plc which also provides seed capital for Therium’s funding activities.

As a Director of Novitas, Neil provides oversight of the lending and risk assessment process and controls to ensure the quality of the loan book.
